An independent developer known as leor has successfully reproduced the 'Bliss' hack on an original Xbox One, achieving code execution after over 1.3 million glitch attempts. This achievement builds on the work of Markus 'Doom' Gaasedelen and demonstrates the persistence required to exploit the console's boot ROM. The process was hardware-intensive, reportedly destroying at least one flash chip.

A new software tool, cmpunlocker, has been developed to unlock the full memory capacity (up to 64GB from 8GB, or 40GB from 10GB) and compute performance of Nvidia's CMP 170HX mining card.
