Tool Unlocks Hidden Memory Capacity on Nvidia's CMP 170HX
A new software tool, cmpunlocker, has been developed to unlock the full memory capacity (up to 64GB from 8GB, or 40GB from 10GB) and compute performance of Nvidia's CMP 170HX mining card. This is achieved by restoring disabled memory stacks and features limited by Nvidia through firmware, utilizing the GA100 chip's full potential.
